Anniversaries

The Lutheran Witness welcomes notices 50 words or less from LCMS congregations about their upcoming “milestone” anniversaries. Christ Lutheran Church of Pattison, Texas, will celebrate its 125th anniversary Sunday morning, December 13, in its 10:30 a.m. service. Speaker is Texas District mission/ministry facilitator (Area D) Rev. Jon Braunersreuther. Catered luncheon will be served following the service.

Our Savior Lutheran Church, Washington, Ill., will celebrate its 50th anniversary November 1, 2015. Worship services will be held at 8:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon. Rev. Trinity Lutheran Church, Darmstadt, Ill., is celebrating its 150th anniversary throughout the year. On Sunday, November 1, Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Mueller, Jr. of LCMS will be preaching at the 10:30 a.m. service. Following the service there will be a meal in the church basement.
